His Death Notice as follows:
Anthony Judd, the father of John, Charles and George Judd, of Wayne, was struck by a train on the C. & N.W. railway, about a mile north of Turner, on Friday last, and received injuries which terminated fatally on Tuesday. Mr Judd came to Wayne in 1837 and settled on a farm, where he lived ever since. He was 86 years old and well known in St. Charles. The funeral was held at the residence of his son Charles on Wednesday.
